  NATURAL HISTORY / DOCUMENTARY

Natural History and documentary work makes up the majority of Phil's portfolio. Natural history work tends to exclusively use his timelapse skills. Where as documentary gives him the opportunity to combine timelapse and standard filming knowledge. Phil's timelapse work is now almost entirely in HD, although up until 2004 he worked mainly with Arriflex and Bolex cameras. He also has experience with 35mm.

Phil's last major documentary poject was with Lion TV working on the BBC television series 'Britian From Above'. This was a really exciting project filming timelapse sequences from roof tops and cherry pickers. The series was aired in Autumn 2008.
